What you'll do
Why is a sustainable production system beneficial to birds and how do they reward this benefit? Here you will know!
Colombia is the country with the most bird species in the world -1954 registered species- and about 40% live in the Coffee Region. In our farm we have a record of 92 of these species, many of them are the daily alarm clock.
We want to share with you this sonorous and happy awakening. You will have the opportunity to marvel at their singing (On live, No recordings), the chance to see them fly freely and learn a little more about the species we have registered, about their behavior, songs and amazing colors.. In addition to sharing a small talk with us, although the protagonists are the birds.
We are a couple who left city life, abandoning our professions (Arvey -My husband- is an Accountant and I'm Electrical Engineer) to live in the countryside and produce our own food in an environmentally friendly way, based on the pillars of environmental sustainability, social- cultural and economic for us and the community around us.
We love birds and animals, and we live from tourism and coffee production, that's why we know very well what we do and we want to share it with you.

You will have the pleasure of enjoy this experience from The Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, declared World Heritage by UNESCO for its “centennial tradition of coffee growing” producing the best coffee in the world. Directly from our home: La Unión, a coffee farm with more than 3000 coffee trees of Castillo and Colombia variety coffee and many fruit trees; In addition to a beautiful forest of bamboo and large Nogal trees.
